This project was to create a heart monitor app for toddlers that wanted to play doctor. The process of designing this new app included, creating the app name, tagline and outlining the app's functions, roles, and competitors. I wanted the look and feel of the app to be attractive to toddlers so I enlisted my 3 year old daughter's help. She became one of my usability testers for this project. The app has two options to choose from. The toddler can check the heartbeat of their stuffed animal friend, which includes pretend stats and musical songs, or they can check the heartbeat of one of their real life playmates.
